I first discovered Worli through the Dynamo EP on Baroque Sunburst (which is also played in the mix), the emotional depth and rhythmic intricacy in his production instantly reminds me of some of the best drum & bass records, like the Autonomic-era dBridge or Photek at his peak. The following EP on GRAFT went deeper into that direction, blending UK garage and breakbeat hardcore into his kaleidoscopic sound palette, the D-side track sounds straight up like what Basic Channel would make if they travelled to London instead of Detroit in the early 90s, definitely one of my favorite EPs this year!<br/><br/>The Brazilian-born and Milan-based producer is not new to the scene though. As a veteran in Milan's underground scene, he's been championing the bass-heavy sound for a whole decade, blending the sharpest rhythms with highly-textured ambience and rich harmonies.<br/><br/>I'm more than happy to have him as the first guest in a long while on my BAIHUI show this month! He brought in an exceptional mix, weaving together some of the most interesting tunes in the experimental jungle scene, including some deep cuts from everyone's favorite producers plus some very exclusive dubplates.
