Produced by Shika Shika's promoter Barrio Lindo , this playlist showcases some of the most popular tracks released by the worldwide “South American electronic folk music label” between year 2022-2023. The selections feature artists from 10 different countries, who are inspired by their cultural roots and organic sounds.
The final track tributes to Kraut, who recently passed away. Kraut was one of the earliest artists to release music on Shika Shika.
To celebrate the release of the collaborative album bié Records Meets Shika Shika, Barrio Lindo and DJ Raff, another representative of the label, will land in Chengdu, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing starting from October 18th.
