Laurence Pike is a prolific drummer, composer and producer, and one of the most respected pioneering musicians from Australia.
He focuses on listening in his creations, expressing the human experience of the present moment through real-time improvisational language. Over the past two decades, he has used a cosmic free will to break the boundaries of jazz, post-rock, ambient and electronic music, and developed a rich sound system full of spiritual connotations.
This special program selects Pike's personal works from different periods, as well as the diverse creations of his bands such as PVT, Szun Waves, and Triosk.
On December 6th and 7th, Laurence Pike will lead the "BIE别的" 2024 year-end party in Shanghai and Beijing respectively.
