Warp’s contribution to electronic music can not be understated. From it’s inception in 1991, Warp helped to establish the electronic subgenre, IDM. The label is also synonymous for bleep techno. Through the subsequent decades, Warp has laid the foundations for many legendary musicians.
Taste 4 presents Taste 4 Warp, a retrospective on the early years of Warp. This episode covers Warp’s first 13 releases in chronological order from the years 1991-1993.
