November is the time before the end of time. I mistakenly thought November 10th was the death day of Beckett and read lots of his short stories. But after all, Beckett is good for November, dry, dark, clear like a bone. Over the past year, I’ve been keeping thinking of his words after intense activities (like love making or reading the latest political news): You’re on Earth. There’s no cure for that.
One of the most ostentatious descriptions of the Northern hemisphere November that I’ve read is from Thomas Hoood: No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees, / No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds! – / November! Here is what I want to say: Nocturnal！Hence, music from this episode flows towards Beckett’s dark swamp, along with two stones hurled by me – “Weak-Godology”is a series of poems of mine inspired by a national meeting happening this October. The meeting somehow started. So I somehow wrote the poems short, since daggers are probably better for assassination—for the time being, I might as well buy into the theory of cold-steel weapon.
Here is an hour of polar night, with a quick flash of Deafheaven’s evil California sun, which gets even brighter in the last ten minutes.
