Rachana “Cha Cha” is a multi-instrumentalist, traditional Indian dancer, and organizer who explores how space and stimuli influence learning and healing. Mother of Corduroy Garden Soundsystem and co-creator of Anemone, Cha Cha organizes hi-fidelity techno-forward experiences in Los Angeles underground. She has worked with crews and curators such as New Palm, Pranks!, Printshop, Vitamin1k, Acid Camp and United Selector Network.
Cha Cha ："I recently pulled from an oracle deck and drew war, hot springs, and the fairy card. This piece focuses on the surface tension that connects the forces of war with the deep magic of prayer. As structure and form unravel beneath our feet we travel through space stretching ourselves taught looking for a floor. At some point, we realize the ground as we learned it, never was, and that we must surrender to curling walls. These punctuated pressures act as an anchor to dance around while we fling through boundless, formless space. With love."
