Over the years, Bangkok-based Sunju Hargun has been sharing a signature sound of hypnotic, modulatated and deep soundscapes. Inspired by the traditional music of Southeast Asian culture, his DJ sets and productions are hypnotic sound baths, with plenty of nature references. Shimmering ambient techno evokes misty mountain tops while whiffs of Goa trance nod to beach sunrises.
His current project, Siamese Twins Records, is also rooted in pan-Asian connections. A platform to explore old-world chants and ceremonial percussion, the label hosts much of Hargun's own work, including Alter ego's Khun Fluff and Mogambo. All these myriad styles are present in his mixes and live DJ sets.
