Through a seamless fusion of musique concrète, classical pieces, and traditional pop, subtle nuances emerge—fading in and out with delicate precision.
A specially selected and remixed key segment features a reading of "Untitled 2," a prose poem from the artist’s forthcoming book, Ruins of A Sea, alongside Lucy Liyou’s evocative new piece, Every Video Without Your Face, Every Sound Without Your Name, which bears a distinctly Musique-Concrète quality. Interwoven are the Gregorian chants of medieval composer Hildegard von Bingen’s Lydian, Sachiko M’s improvisational sine wave compositions, and layered traditional drums from Mali—each element a shimmering thread in the intricate tapestry that constitutes the heart of this set’s artistic expression.
