Greybox is a Bali-based educator, composer, and multi-instrumentalist whose genre-blending sound—rooted in electronic, dub, house, and UKG—draws influence from Detroit and New York’s jazz and boom bap scenes. A member of the Plumbah collective and founder of Grey Audio Lab, he began his journey on an MPC1000 in New York and now teaches aspiring producers in Indonesia. *Dan’s BPM* is a tribute to a friend’s gritty 800-track playlist and a spontaneous studio session that turned a chill evening into a full-blown LED-lit house party.
