If Techno is in Berlin and House is in Chicago, then Minimal is in Romania. In the 41st episode, we finally focus on Romania. Just this month, the Minimal Conference-SUNWAVES SW35 ended in Romania. It was the last Sunwaves held on Mamaia Beach in Romania.

This is a sigh from Romania. There are many reasons for the suspension in this turbulent era, and dancehall music is also facing unprecedented challenges. In the past ten years, SUNWAVES has created the myth of minimal music. 7 days of non-stop music, extremely picky sound systems, interesting, beautiful and powerful rhythms are all escorting people's musical aesthetic limits. This super-long party has also compiled such a RO-MINIMAL (ROMANIAN-MINIMAL) that can withstand repeated appreciation.
This time we are introducing a Romanian producer, COSMJN, who just finished his performance at SUNWAVES and started his Asian tour. He is a representative of the new generation of Romanian producers, but this does not affect the rising star's fame in the minimal field. With a deep appreciation of house music, Cosmjn's unique sound seamlessly blends house and techno elements, producing a refined and unique listening experience. His music is characterized by a fusion of minimal concepts, heavy-bass breakbeats and his skillful techniques, especially his precise and dynamic mixing style.
He has regular releases on well-known labels such as Atipic, Subtil and PlayedBy. His previous works have also been released on
Eastenderz. Now he is more focused on his own label Radial Records.
The only drawback is that he cannot compile a playlist for us in his recent almost uninterrupted performances. Also, because there will be some unknown and unreleased tracks in the middle, a complete playlist cannot provide an effective reference for everyone. But he highlighted a song from his set, JTC – ESCALATOR TO SORGA, to share with everyone. This is an almost perfect set, 70 minutes of eloquence, full of surprises in the mix, and the bass is also unique. This set is his greeting to the Chinese audience and a warm-up for the upcoming China tour.
