LOU is Louis Fu’s latest experiment in electronic music. His attempt to break the boundaries between rhythm and sound emerges out of the observation of overloading informations and flooding musical products that define our current time, seeking for an autonomous and effective expression free of any formulated labelings.
From the deeper end of the Techno spectrum, to the classic tradition from Detroit and UK Left-field, with influences from world music that evokes more experimental possibilities, LOU’s DJ sets create an alchemical equilibrium of colliding elements, architecting a raw yet refined sonic experience that comes out of a place of convulsive beauty and obsessive aestheticism.
