Ari Sugi has a wealth of experiences in his arsenal. Before moving to HK in 2021 and joining the 宀 family as a resident, he was a regular DJ and event organizer at VENT Tokyo. In his mixing, you can hear influences of the early Japanese techno scene, which he seamlessly blends with old school trippy sounds ranging from psychedelic techno and obscure transy tracks to powerful progressive gems and 90s rave groovy bangers. A huge digger at heart, he lets the tracks speak for themselves while crafting his sets with smooth and precise mixing, never failing to surprise the crowd while simultaneously reinventing his sound.
