After two months of being trapped at home, what I’ve missed the most is not only the dance floor, but more importantly the excitement I always feel when I get ready to go out. The meticulousness of beating makeup onto my face, and the anticipation of seeing people I love, mixed into this hopeful, expectant longing that surrounds me. These songs are what I usually like to listen to if you catch me mid-makeover before the club. They are keys to a buoyant attitude, and they fill me with motivation to take the dance floor by storm.
