Shanghai based independent music label, Eating Music was established in early 2018. In 2019, the label started releasing annual compilations titled, "...with Friends" using different concepts and themes. So far, three albums titled, "Eating with Friends", "Dreaming with Friends" and "Living with Friends" have been released. The latest work "Drifting with Friends" is set for release in 2022.
The series was conceived from the starting point of "spiritual aggregation", inviting friends from all over the world to participate, re-establishing a connection and dialogue beyond space and through music.
On March 29 2022, Eating Music and BAIHUI teamed up to broadcast a label special and compilation preview featuring sets from 'Drifting with Friends' participating musicians accompanied by a 20 minutes visual loop created by Kai Luen, based on musical emotions, enriching the dimension of the listener experience.
